Alexandria Insulation was founded in 2023 by a team that had spent years watching Alexandria homeowners deal with high electric bills, rooms that never cooled down, and attics that were barely insulated at all. Central Louisiana is one of the hardest climates in the country for a home to handle. The summers are long and punishing, the humidity is relentless, and even the mild winters throw the occasional hard freeze. Homes here need better protection than most of them have.
We started with a simple idea: do the job right, explain what we are doing, and be honest when a simpler approach will work just as well. Alexandria is our home. We work on houses near the Red River downtown, out past England Airpark, and in the older Garden District neighborhoods. We have seen every type of house this city has to offer, from 1950s ranch homes on slab foundations to older pier-and-beam bungalows that have been standing since before World War II.
